Rad Animal · Scope of Work

Creative direction through code.

Most people hire me for one thing and find out later I do the rest. This page fixes that. Five areas of work, what sits inside each, and the live examples so you can check the claim yourself.

Five areas, one operator.

Open any area to see what's inside it and the work behind it. Search if you already know what you're looking for.

Nothing matches that. Try a broader term, or just email me and ask.

Working together

Three ways this usually runs.

Most projects land in one of these. If yours is a hybrid, say so on the first call and we'll shape it.

01 · Project

Fixed scope, fixed fee

A site, a campaign, a shoot, a system. We agree on what finished looks like and what it costs before anything gets made, and the number holds unless you change the ask.

Good for: a defined thing with a deadline
02 · Retainer

Fractional creative direction

Monthly. I sit in on the decisions, direct the output, and keep the standard consistent across whoever else is producing. For teams that need the judgment but not the headcount.

Good for: ongoing output, no senior creative in-house
03 · Advisory

Sprint or by the hour

Audits, positioning, a second opinion, or unblocking something that's been stuck for a month. Short and pointed. Every call is paid, including the first one, and you leave with direction whether or not we keep working.

Good for: a decision you need to get right
How I work

Three principles, every project.

Platforms change every couple of years. How I run a project hasn't.

01Strategy before execution.

Nothing gets built until we agree on what success looks like and how we'll measure it. The first week is for questions.

02No status black holes.

You hear from me on a schedule, including the weeks something is stuck. Bad news travels fastest here.

03Say the hard thing.

If an idea won't work, you'll hear it from me before it costs you money. I expect the same in return.

Tell me what you're building.

A few lines about the project are enough to start. I reply within two business days.
